Neuro Awareness Training for Law Enforcement/First Responders - Williamsport

This training provides first responders with practical information and strategies for interacting with individuals with autism in emergency situations. Participants will learn about common characteristics associated with autism, approaches for effective communication, and intervention techniques designed to support safe and peaceful outcomes for everyone involved.

Designed for School Resource Officers (SROs), School Police Officers (SPOs), School Armed Security, Law Enforcement Practitioners and other emergency response personnel, this course focuses on increasing understanding, improving response strategies, and promoting positive interactions during high-stress situations.

By the end of the training, participants will have a stronger understanding of how to recognize and respond to the needs of individuals with autism while working toward safe, respectful, and effective resolutions in emergency scenarios.

Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the training.
